The agricultural organizations COAG (Coordinator of Farmers and Stockbreeders Associations) and UPA (Agricultural Union of Small and Medium Landholders), the trade unions CCOO (Workers Commissions) and UGT (General Union of Workers), and the environmental organizations Friends of the Earth, Ecologistas en Acción, Greenpeace, SEO/Birdlife and WWF/Adena, with the support of OCU (Organization of Consumers), all of them members of the Environmental Advisory Council (CAMA), after being informed of the demonstration call under the motto “In Favour of the Countryside, the Environmental Conservation and Hunting” which has been summoned by different organizations for next day, 1st March, we declare :

1. – That the arguments putted forward by the convenors to justify this call do not adjust to the content of law 42/2007 of Natural Patrimony and Biodiversity, that has been arranged with an ample participation and informed favourably by the Environmental Advisory Council (CAMA).

2. – That this law does not persecute the private land expropriation, not taking place in this sense any modification with respect to all the existing legislations for decades.

3. – That this is not a law against hunting and it does not prohibit any hunting modality not included already by the European directives as compulsory for the Spanish state. The law either does not prohibit the use of lead ammunition in all the Network Natura 2000 as the convenors argue.
